🚨 Action Alert: Demand Action on Gun Safety in Vermont! 🚨

GunSense Vermont is frustrated and deeply concerned that no firearm safety bills have been scheduled for hearings at the Vermont General Assembly. We cannot afford to wait until tragedy strikes to take action.

What Needs to Happen?

🔸 Ban Guns in Public Buildings – The Secretary of State has recommended banning firearms in state and municipal buildings, yet the Legislature has taken no action. You can read the report HERE.
🔸 Keep Guns Out of Bars – Burlington is once again pushing a charter change to ban guns in bars. This common-sense measure should apply statewide. H.45, introduced by eight Burlington lawmakers, would make that happen.
🔸 Pass a Full Gun Safety Agenda – From banning assault weapons to strengthening background checks, we have proven solutions to save lives. Guns are now the #1 killer of children in America, and we refuse to wait for a tragedy before Vermont acts.

Take Action Now!

📢 Contact your House Reps & Senators TODAY and demand they push leadership and committee chairs to take up gun safety bills. You can find them HERE.

We need your voice. The time for action is now.
