GunSense Vermont Statement on Minnesota School Shooting

GunSense Vermont condemns yesterday’s horrific act of hate and violence at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, where two children were killed and many others injured. No child should face the terror of gunfire in their school, in their community, or in their place of worship.

This tragedy underscores both the devastating human toll of gun violence and the urgent need for stronger laws to keep weapons of war out of our communities. Our hearts are with the families grieving in Minnesota, and with all who are once again reminded that thoughts and prayers alone cannot stop bullets.
