ON PASSAGE OF SENSIBLE NEW GUN CHARTER CHANGES IN BURLINGTON

(Burlington) – Today, after Burlington voters overwhelmingly passed sensible new gun laws, Gun Sense Vermont called the victory a call to action for state leaders in Montpelier.

 

“Today’s vote is a strong message to our state’s leaders that Vermonters support sensible gun laws that will make our communities safer," said Ann Braden of Gun Sense Vermont. “This display of grassroots activism shows that gun safety measures are both a winning issue and a priority for Vermonters, and now it’s time for our elected officials in Montpelier to take action.”
